Sonja Brie - Portrait Of A Great Woman

Prolog

Whenever I want to write about the most important people in my life, I tell myself, “Oh, this is significant. I should not do it in a hurry. I better wait for a suitable moment.”
Then years pass by and I haven´t written anything. That “suitable moment” never seems to arrive.

Many years have passed in my waiting for better times to write about Sonja Brie.
I have decided not to wait anymore and to write about her. Write, do it now! That´s what matters.
I can´t fathom what I will be producing here, perhaps only fragments. It doesn´t matter. In that case, I will collect those pieces and call them “Sonja Brie – A Portrait in Fragments). That is much better than not writing at all.

And while writing and waiting for the publishing Godot to put my text on paper and make it accessible to a broader public, I will publish what I write on this page (fragments, thoughts, reminiscences, diary entries, etc.) I want to make them instantly available to my friends and website visitors, and above all , to Sonja Brie so that she can see my appreciation of her wonderful person and our lifelong friendship.

Sonja is the kind of person you always like to talk to. There is something cultivated about her, elegant, serious and rewarding. You always have the feeling you are winning when you are with her. After a visit or an encounter with her, you come back with something additional you didn’t possess before, a feeling of spiritual and intellectual renovation, an assertion of your person that only success or pleasant events can produces in you.
